with the community
Douglas County
Community Access Television is your television station.
Located on Channel 216 in the Carson Valley
and Channel 19 at Lake Tahoe, most programs reflect Douglas
County and other regions within the State of Nevada.
Current
programming includes local government, community events,
entertainment and education. In order to increase the availability
of community programming, local/regional video producers
are encouraged to submit their work for airing on DCCATV.
Submissions should be suitable for all ages and be 1/2-hour
(less than 29:58) or 1-hour (less than 59:58) in length.
Longer lengths (parades, meetings, local sports and other
events, etc.) are always considered for airing. DCCATV
does not discriminate with respect to program(s) content,
with the exceptions of; advertising of any goods or services,
content in favor of or against candidates or incumbents
for/of public office, content solicitating money for any
cause, and obscenity (as defined by law), including pornography.
The goal of DCCATV is to provide residents of our community
with content that will keep them informed on county issues
- as well as entertain and educate.
